$50.00 initial setup fee is for (1) activation of your
QuickCase Web Hosting Account; (2) basic configuration of the Web Server to
accept uploads of your Web Site; (3) updating of QuickCase nameservers and
DNS to provide Internet connectivity to your domain hosted with us; (4)
activation of the Email Server to accept the creation and configuration of
mailboxes associated with your domain; and (5) activation of Web
Statistics associated with your domain. Upon activation, we'll send to you
an email with easy-to understand directions for you to upload your Web
Site, configure mailboxes and other important information. Or for a
reasonable fee, QuickCase will provide a needs analysis and set up
everything for you, so that you'll have a custom hosting solution to meet
all your specifications and needs. We're happy to provide a quote. |

If you exceed our generous data transfer limits:
Congratulations! You have a very successful Web Site. We'll
notify you of the situation and recommend upgrading to the next plan
level. Otherwise, we will charge you $10.00 per GB of data transfer in
excess of monthly limit. |

Email cache space is the holding tank for email
when received by the Email Server. When you "POP" it with
your email reader, all the email is downloaded to your computer, where it
resides on your local hard drive. By default, most email readers are set up to
erase (or "clean-off") the email files from the Email Server
once downloading is complete. Email readers
have "Advanced Settings," though, which may allow email to
reside on the Email Server for a specified number of days, say, 7
days. When email is POP'ed with this advanced configuration, only
emails older than 7 days are erased. Since email newer than 7 days remains
on the Email Server, the email cache allotted to your
domain begins to fill up. You and people who email you may receive email messages that
your email cache is exceeded, if you leave email on the Email
Server. New email may not be delivered until the amount of email in
cache is reduced to within your Plan's limits. This situation
is especially acute if there are large files attached to emails. To date, QuickCase LLC has not had any issues arise from
this limitation with customers who use the default setting of email
readers to clean off email once it's POP'ed. If for some reason you
need more email cache, you may purchase more for an additional
charge, or you may purchase a difference plan that provides for the amount
of cache you need. |
